Eagle’s Nest Church specializes in developing and equipping leaders for the work of the ministry and the marketplace. The Eagle
There are two primary reasons why we call ourselves Eagle’s Nest Church. First of all, we identify with the life of an eagle. Eagles are mentioned in the Bible numerous times (Exodus 19:4, Deuteronomy 32:11, Job 39:27, Psalm 103:5, and Isaiah 40:31 to name a few). The eagle symbolizes strength, courage, and leadership. The eagle flies higher and sees further than any bird in the sky. As a matter of fact, the eagle is the king of the sky, a leader amongst birds. At Eagle’s Nest Church, we want to produce and attract people who want to be leaders! Those who yearn to do extraordinary things for God! Those who want to be Eagles!
The Nest
Secondly, before an eagle can soar through the sky it must be nurtured, strengthened, and trained. This process happens in an actual eagle’s nest, not in the sky. That’s another reason why we call our church Eagle’s Nest or “The Nest.” What happens in a nest in the natural; is the same thing we want to happen at our church in the spiritual.
For example, in a real eagle’s nest, three things occur; (1) eagles are birthed, (2) eagles are fed and strengthened, (3) eagles are stirred. At Eagle’s Nest Church we aim to do the same three things from a spiritual perspective. (1) We want to see people born-again spiritually, (2) we want to see people fed and strengthened by the Word of God, (3) we want to see people stirred in their faith and gifts so they can be all that God has called them to be!
